  The genres I would like to research are Horror, Thriller, and Action. I want to research these 3 genres for different reasons. Horror: Provides a deep suspense and explores dark subjects for entertainment purposes. Thriller: Involves crime or mystery. Thrillers are defined by the moods they elicit giving viewers heightened feelings of suspense, excitement and anticipation which are all qualities a genre should produce. Action: Involves violence and fast paced scenery which appeals to certain audiences

Pitch 1: A man going for a normal run when things so south and and gets followed my a mysterious man then leads to a hide a seek between them. Pitch 2: After a long day at work a man comes home and starts sleeping only to wake up in the morning from a nightmare where he was murdered. Not keeping mind of the nightmare he goes to work and continues his daily life only to realize that he is living the nightmare he dreamt and he must kill the murderer to stop the concurring torment and go back to his daily life. Pitch 3: A boy and a girl are shipwrecked after an unexpected storm. They find themselves on an island where they are forced to spend their first night together under the stars. We decided to choose pitch 1 because the story has the most interesting plot with the most potential to be expanded into a 5 minute film.
