Music video planning   Props: Main props used within this video are notebooks, a bed, and several other assorted household items. Mainly items connected with childhood. These will be used to rekindle memories and will serve as transitionary elements for the video. For example, a bike can be used to transition to a scene concerning biking when the older person was younger. Overall, props are integral to our project and an assortment of them will be used.     Costumes: Our entire group needs costumes for this video. The focus of the costumes is to give the allusion of an older version of ourse lves. Our family members present in the video will also need costumes to perform their parts. Hello again, today I start a new project. Happily enough me and my groupmates decided to stay together since we did well on the last project. My first group mate is Griffin. We met pretty recently and are pretty good friends so we made a group together. I know that he is smart and will do good when it comes to doing work. He is also very funny so he will be able to keep the motivation up when we are working together. My second group mate is Ryan. I didn't know him that well when we started the first project. But since the project ended we are friends and have been able to talk more. But I know that he is smart and will be able to do well. My last group mate is Logan. Hi my name is Nick Shenaj and welcome to my 2nd blog. I like playing soccer and video games in my free time and helps me get through stressful days. 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?  Conventions in a commercial are the normal things that you see in a commercial and we used that to our advantage. Once we studied other commercials we used that to our advantage and took different aspects in out commercials. We also used some unconventional things like using a normal phone to record a commercial wile others might use a professional camera to record. It shows that you don't need the best of the best stuff to record and make a well produced commercial. 2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributes as a real media text? Our commercial connects with people all over the world to people who owns cars or wants a car. It gives them an option and gives them inspiration for their next step.   This is the first time me and my group have worked on something like this and i’m really excited how it turned out. Of course there was some stuff we could of worked on looking back at it now but the final product looks really good. As we do different types of these projects we will all improve and our recording will look better and better as we go. 

Welcome to another blog from yours truly. We finally finished our commercial. After editing we were really proud of the product. The music we chose and clips we added made the commercial a lot better. We even added a last minute clip towards the end that show this BMW logo and there slogan. We finished the commercial really early to. its due in about a week so it gives us time to fix other blogs we might need to fix. Or fix up the commercial if we want to add anything else. The editing did take us a bit more time then we thought. iMovie was said to be easy but it was a lot more work. We started the commercial on the phone but switched to a MacBook later on. We realized that editing on computer was way better. We could do more with computer editing and add more stuff. We decided to use some YouTube videos to help us make it. We got some inspiration from other commercials and used it to our advantage. It taught us how to crop different scenes and use it later. We even made a split screen...

Another day another blog. The next step in our production is editing. I'm not not good at editing so we Logan my other groupmate will edit. He already has some experience with editing. Were using iMovie because its the easiest to use and access. We were thinking of using Adobe but its hard to use. It also shows a watermark unless you spend money so we decided not to use it. iMovie is already on everyone's phone so the commercial will be easy to share and edit. During out recording session we got extra shots to add to the background of the editing. Whether it was shots of the engine or the sound of the car revving. We already have our rough draft done and its about 45 seconds long. We have to try and cut the time and get it to 27-30 seconds. But we still have shots we wanted to include so it might be hard to get it that short. We might need to speed up some clips up. Or cut some clips short to reach our time requirements.
